Trevone Boykin leads TCU again after Casey Pachall leaves the game due to injury. The 25th ranked Hornfrogs eventually pulled away from Southeastern Louisiana to win 38-17. Pachall left the game after an apparent left arm injury. Boykin took over for Pachall last season after Casey was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Trevone Boykin ended the game 9 of 13 for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 33 yards on the ground.
TCU’s next test is against high scoring Texas Tech on Thursday September 12th. There is no word as to the extent of the injury but should Pachall be away for any extended time, Boykin proved capable of keeping TCU competitive.
