Former Georgia defensive back Tray Matthews announced that he will be headed to Auburn.
Earlier this offseason, Matthews was one of four Georgia Bulldogs arrested on counts of theft by deception. Each had been accused of essentially double-dipping: taking their UGA stipend checks, cashing them via a mobile app, then cashing the actual check elsewhere.
Matthews will have to sit out year before he can take the playing field with the defending SEC West and SEC Conference champs/
I’m truly blessed for this opportunity and second chance that God and Coach Gus has blessed me with. I’m excited and ready to Excel at AU
