Former Hawaii WR makes it official and transfers to Temple

After one year at Hawaii, Sophomore WR Keith Kirkland is transferring to play closer to his hometown of NJ.  He will be a Temple Owl but will have to sit out a year before he can take the field.  Kirkwood was sixth on the team with 250 receiving yards, 12 receptions, and four touchdowns. He led he Warriors in yards per catch, averaging 20.8 YPC.

Temple coach Matt Rhule shared,
“We’re excited to have Keith join us. He’s a good academic student who had a good season as a true freshman out there. We’re happy to have him join us.”

Keith Kirkwood, who saw time at wide receiver as a true freshman at Hawaii, has transferred to Temple, which coach Matt Rhule announced to the media at practice on Saturday.

Kirkwood, a big target at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, led the team in average yards per catch at 20
