What an exciting game Friday night. 8th ranked Louisville (6-1, 2-1) was shocked 38-35 by Central Florida (5-1, 2-0). Unbelievable that Louisville’s loss could keep them out of the National Championship discussion. Even more devastating is that their loss could keep them from becoming the First American Athletic Conference Champion. The loss could mean that the Conference Champ comes down to the UCF and Houston winner (who is undefeated at 6-0). Teddy Bridgewater was good but his defense was poor at best.
Central Florida is better than what most give them credit for. They could easily be 6-0 if South Carolina had not escaped by 3. This becomes easily the Program’s best win and Coach O’Leary now has his team expecting more.
