Michigan State will begin defense of their Big 10 Conference Championship this Fall without CB Ezra Robinson. Robinson who was expected to play a vital role for the Spartan defense and replace Darqueze Dennard has been released from his scholarship.
The 6-foot, 178-pound Sophomore has asked for and received a release from his scholarship, MSU associate athletic director John Lewandowski confirmed today.
Michigan State announced that Robinson has been granted a release from his scholarship and is free to transfer. No reason was given in the Press Release for reasoning behind the decision.
The Sarasota, Florida native could look to continue his collegiate career somewhere in the South but there’s no word yet on a potential destination.
