Report: Former QB Collin Klein will take on a Graduate Assistant role at Kansas State. While no official word has come from Kansas State, Klein shared with rivals.com that he is excited to serve on Bill Snyder’s coaching staff. The former Wildcat quarterback, a finalist for the 2012 Heisman award, as well as the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, will apparently serve in some capacity and try his hand at coaching.
“I’m sure I’m going to help with the quarterbacks, but obviously anywhere else they need me as far as supporting the offensive staff. I’m sure I’ll have multiple roles. I’d say it’s some sort of offensive assistant/quality control role. That’s probably what it’ll be.”
This is a great move for a program trying to stay relevant in the Big 12.
