Bring the Wood! Bring the new Oklahoma wood-grain designed uniforms.
Oklahoma introduced a new set of alternate uniforms for the upcoming season. The uniforms were inspired by the rich heritage of the state as well as the football program itself. One uniform adopts a white alternate helmet, while one features a wood grain pattern in the numbering, lettering and the helmet itself.
Coach Stoops said in a statement,
“The players are excited about them. It’s always positive to relate back to Bud’s Wilkinson’s era with the longest winning streak in college football history and three national championships. These uniforms give us a chance to do that.”
I personally want tradition over the uniforms unless you are a school like Oregon and Maryland because of their respective sponsors but let the Sooner nation play out their history with their uniforms.
