When Florida State visits Louisville this evening, they are placing everything on the line. The Seminoles are the defending National Champs, have a controversial Heisman winning quarterback who has never suffered a defeat and bring the Nation’s longest winning streak of 23 straight games. The stakes are high as they are also playing for their chance to defend their title and represent their conference in the inaugural College Football Playoffs. I believe that a loss here would spell the Seminoles being left out completely from the conversation. Their schedule strength would be the primary reason why.
Florida State faces their toughest test of the season with first year member Louisville (sorry Clemson, you should have won that game). Because of this, Florida State will look to make a statement by dominating the statistically speaking best defense in the country. There is zero margin of error for Florida State and they want to erase all doubt and any debate for why they should not belong.
